Hi,


Is it possible to run more than one BGP process on a single router?

A BGP router can run multiple BGP processes. Each BGP process corresponds to a BGP instance. BGP maintains an independent routing table for each BGP instance. You can enable session multithreading for each BGP process.

The answer is not clear for me. Please provide a configuration example of how a Huawei device will work as per your explanation

You can configure the BGP multi-instance to enable multiple BGP processes.
Please refer to the example Example for Configuring BGP Multi-Instance.
