BGP neighbors

If your BGP is configured properly, please use the below command:

<Huawei> display bgp peer verbose

Run the display bgp peer command to check whether the AS number and IP address of the peers are properly configured.

Use the display bgp peer command to check whether the router IDs configured on both BGP peers are conflicting.

<Huawei> display bgp peer
<Huawei>display current-configuration configuration bgp

If the EBGP neighbors are not directly connected physically, check whether the peer ebgp-max-hop command is configured.
