Hi Hobbit,
In IP core, L3VPN is not deployed. Public network routes are advertised through BGP on all routers. Services are forwarded through search for BGP IP routes hop by hop (a large number of routing information has high requirements on device performance).
The BGP Free technology can be used when the core router node has insufficient performance, high pressure, or does not want to carry service routes. BGP is run only between PE routers. BGP is not deployed on P devices. MPLS and MPLS LDP are deployed on all devices to establish end-to-end LDP LSPs. On the PE, iterate the non-labeled BGP public network routes to the LSP LSP for forwarding. (The P router only performs MPLS forwarding, which speeds up the forwarding rate.)
