Hi,

Kindly help to confirm the processing mechanism while NE40E receives the BGP routes carried extcommunities. Are these routes received or discarded? If NE40E doesn't accept such routes, then, how could we to make that happed? If the routes are accpeted, how can we erase the extcommunity?

Since we are trying using the extcommunity to control the routes, please suggest.

Hi @user_3787126,
By default, NE40E will receive these routes, but not forwards them out. If you want to advertise the extcommunity, then you need declaring that explicitly with using command “peer advertise-ext-community”. If you want to discard the receiving extcommunity, you should declare that with using command “peer discard-ext-community”.
