Hi,
We have two MPLS RSVP-TE tunnels (with FRR and link protection everywhere), each one to a different egress router (exit points to another network). One of the two is the primary tunnel for all the traffic and the other tunnel is the backup (we make the backup tunnel less prefered than the other by imposing a worse ISIS metric when using the forwarding adjacency feature on the tunnel). The thing is that we would like to improve the convergence from the primary tunnel to the backup tunnel when the primary egress router goes down by detecting when the egress router goes down using a static BFD session. We configured a static BFD MPLS-TE LSP session and we tried to link it to the ISIS session on the tunnel but it didn't seem to work and ISIS didn't become aware of the egress router going down in order to trigger the switchover to the backup tunnel by updating the routing table. Is there any way to make ISIS aware of the egress router going down in order to trigger the switchover to the backup tunnel in the routing table? Any method that allow us to trigger the update in the routing table will be great. The router we are using is the NE20E-S2E.
Thanks
