Basic onsite procedure to make visible the transmission equipment in NMS

HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)
Hi, friends
Please explain anyone, what are the basic onsite procedures to make visible tx node in nms.
When I work onsite, sometimes nms engineer will say to connect the node's NMETH port to an existing node's NMETH Port without setting the planned neid
And they will get visible the node in nms.
Sometimes they will say to set the ip, neid etc to a planned one then connect nmeth to nmeth
I know this is something related with, ECC DCN , GNE etc
If anyone know this in details please explain me
Thankyou all

Hello dear.
Server manages gateway NE (connected directly to the server) using TCP/IP . (using ip).
Huawei use DCC channels which exist in the frame of the signal to make server control NEs connected to the gareway ( not connected directly to the server) , these DCC channels go either in the fiber links or in the NMETH managment port (Extended ECC).
To get the NE in the NMS you need to discover the NE using one of the following:
1- if the ne is gateway (connected directly to the server) so you need the ID and IP of the NE as server use TCP/IP to manage the NE.
to creat the NE search the NE in the server to find the Ip and the ID then create the NE to manage.

2- non-gateway NE ( not connected directly to the server) you just need the ID of the new NE to create the NE .
A- if the new NE connected by fiber to other NE visible in the NMS , so you just need to find this new NE from the ECC managment page in the directly connected (by fiber ) NE EXPLORER .

B- if the new NE is not connected by fiber to other NE visible in the NMS and exist near a NE visible in the NMS , so first you should connect it through ethernet cable from NMETH to the adjacent NE NMETH port ,to find this new NE from the ECC managment page in the directly connected (by fiber ) NE EXPLORER .
