Bandwidth test between OLT and ONT

HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)
We are performing several tests on our services and I need to check the real bandwidth between the OLT itself and an ONT connected to it. Is it possible to perform a test to obtain this data from the OLT MA5680T?

Hello, friend!

Four most common commands for querying GPON real-time traffic:

  1. Querying an ONT Ethernet Port: interface gpon -display ont traffic

  2. Querying the Upstream PON Port of an ONT: interface gpondisplay ont traffic 0 0

Querying Goldport Traffic: display gemport traffic 0 0 gemindex 0

  3. Querying an OLT Service Port: display traffic service-port 1

  4. Querying the OLT Uplink Port: interface mpu 0/9 - display port traffic 0

Querying VLAN Traffic: display traffic vlan 100

You can run the display traffic-limit ont command to query the rate limit of downstream packets on the ONT.

You can run the display ont info command to query ONT information. (including the current ONT status, ONT configuration, and ONT T-CONT information)

You can run the display board command to query the information about the boards in the entire subrack or the detailed information about the boards in a specified slot.

Note that the bandwidth configured on the device cannot be reflected by the real-time bandwidth. The real-time bandwidth depends on the actual service usage.

Thanks!

Hi Dear,

You can to query the real-time traffic of ONT 0 connected to GPON port 0/3/0, do as follows:

huawei(config-if-gpon-0/3)#display ont traffic                                 { portid<U><0,3> }:0                                                            { ontid<U><0,63> }:0                                                            { <cr>|ontportid<U><1,24> }:

  Command:
        display ont traffic 0 0
Command:
        display ont traffic 0 0
 ----------------------------------------------------------------
  Traffic Information
 ----------------------------------------------------------------
 Up traffic (kbps)          :  0
 Down traffic (kbps)        :  0

thank you

Hi Diego, thank you very much for your answer, but the data I need is the actual bandwidth at which both devices can communicate. The purpose is to perform checks on the network status and limitations or bottlenecks on certain PONs and boards. Regards.

I understood ! I don't think it's possible! Mr. Chenxitao will confirm for you.
