Hello, 


I want to buy a set with Huawei Sun 10KTL and Huawei Luna 15 kWh, I also want a back up box.


I have a question about the back up box. The back-up output is still energized or is not activated until the distribution network is switched off.

Hello, friend.

The backup box is used in the household rooftop power station system. The system uses the backup box to switch the inverter status. When the power grid fails, the inverter switches to the off-grid state and supplies power to off-grid loads in backup mode. When the power grid recovers, the inverters are switched to the off-grid state. The inverter switches back to grid-tied mode.

Power grid - on ---> Off grid output- off
Power grid - off ---> off grid output -on?

or

Situation 2

Power grid - on -> Off grid output - on
Power grid off ---> off grid output on

Which situation is right?
I ask this mainly because I have to use a network switching contactor to switch backed up appliances.

Hello, friend.
You can understand it like this, when the grid is out, switch to off-grid state, supply power to off-grid load through backup mode, when the grid is restored, the inverter cut back to grid-connected work.

it is a pity. for example, Go ** we Back-up out still has 230V volts even when the Grid is connected but also when it is not connected. It's easier because with huawei I have to use an ATS transfer switch or contractor for backup loads.

The backup box works only when the power grid is powered off.Power your loads.

When Grid ON,
Inverter On grid mode, Connect to grid and all loads

During Grid OFF
Backup Box isolate your system from grid,
switch your inverter to OFF grid mode,
And will supply power only to critrical loads

When Grid recover,
It will wait presets secs, and switch back to ON Grid mode.
