B715 & CS Voice with outgoing calls work badly

Hi guys,

my B715 work perfectly with CS voice function, incoming and outgoing calls. With only one operator I have problems with outgoing call. I hear the voice of interlocutor but I don't understand what he say. Same operator with incoming calls work perfectly, I hear the voice and understand clearly what he say.

With a Huawei B525 same SIM and operator I have not problems, the outgoing and incoming calls work good.


Have anyone the same promblem and eventually the solution?

Hi user:

Handling Process:
1) we asked customer to check the other operators with the same Extension and he confirmed that the calls are done successfully for the other operators with no issue
2) we asked customer to check if there are any firewalls which may be blocked the media packets but he said no
3) we asked customer to check with the operator he told us that operator proved that they
4) we asked customer to make two calls ; the first call from the operator which working fine and the other one for operator which is not working and collect the U1981 logs to check
5) we compared the call logs of the two calls and found the below

- For the successfull call with signalling and media coming from the operator we found that the call signalling is fine with no issues as below
Root Cause:
after Operator side send 183 to u19, it sent 180 again, it needs to configure the softargu 393 value to 0 to avoid this issue.customer did not configure this
Solution:
not allow SIP trunk with operator to  process 180 after 18X with SDP as below command

config softargu type 393 value 0

Hi Unicef,
the issue that you posted it concerns about a SIP call issue. In my case it concerns a CS Voice call issue with a SIM card inserted into device.
There are two different mode to call, SIP and CS Voice and they are different. I'm looking for a CS Voice issue solution, not SIP solution.

So now still issue? I try to search more Huawei document anyway, u can contact local huawei for support or open ticket as well.

Yes, I still issue!
I remedied by replacing the B715 with a B525 but I would like to use the new B715.

I would like to keep the B715 because it is a cat 9 vs cat 6 of the B525, it is a 3CA vs a 2CA. I wold like to sell the B525 because it is worse. But with this issue I'm stuck, I'm very disappointed, the new model is worse than old one!

I think you should contact your seller, if they can not give you a good solution, then there may be a problem with the router, and they should give you a new one.

It isn't a router failure, There are many models that have the same issue, someone, like B525, work perfectly!
My seller cannot solve this issue with a new one!
I think that only a firmware o setting fix can solve this issue.
