HiCoins as reward: 1 (problem unresolved)

Hi there,

My sticker has ripped underneath the router and after restting the routerI am unable to log in. I have tried the usual default passwords, including the default wifi password but nothing is working.

Is there any way I can reset entirely? It is a T-Mobile branded router, the IP is 192.168.8.1 and I have the serial number etc

many thanks!

Hi Good Friend,

To reset the modem, have the following procedures:

Method – 1

  • First, Verify that your router is currently turned on and plugged into a power source.

  • Next, Find the round Reset button on the back or bottom of your router.

  • Take the end of a paperclip or pin.

  • After that, press and hold down the Reset button for about 10 seconds (Some times it will take 15 seconds).

  • The router will restart and it will take few seconds to complete the reset.

Method – 2

  • First, Turn on your router.

  • After that, locate the RESET button on the router.

  • Next, Hold down the RESET button more than 10 seconds.

  • Release the RESET button after the power LED light starts flashing.

  • After that, Router will automatically reboot.

i hope it helpful!

Hello, friend!

To restore the device to factory settings, perform the following steps:

  • First, Verify that your B525s-23a router is currently turned on and plugged into a power source.

  • Locate the round “reset” port on the back of your router.

  • Use the Straight-Out Paper Clip to hold the reset button for 10 to 15 seconds

  • When the WLAN light blinks on the front of the router, your router is reset and restored to the default factory settings.

Note: Resetting the B525s-23a router does not reset the firmware to an earlier version. It will only change all settings back to factory defaults.

After resetting your B525s-23a router, it goes back to its factory default settings.

Yes, Chenxintao is the best!

Hi and thanks for your quick answers!

I have already reset the router 4 times -I know it has reset because the wifi password has gone back to the default but I still cannot log in :(

Blank password does not work and I found a photo that I took of the original label underneath the router but the default admin password does not work after the reset.

Is there any way to get the password from the serial number of the router?

Hi Friend, try : Login: admin , password: admin
Hi guys,

Now solved, just FYI:

The old non-default password was cached in RAM somehow - powering the router off for a minute and then back on allowed me into the management portal with the default password.

Oh yeah. \m/ \m/
