automation on OLT with scripts?

hello, I have a question when we add ONT to OLT then we configure this manually and assign them service port also but there are some parameters like service port number, ONT ID, etc we set them according to system policy because they have unique numbers.

what if, we work through scripting and set some variables and check reserved service ports and ONT IDs and allocate new service port numbers and ONT ID to upcoming new ONTs automatically is it possible?

sorry for my bad English and if i ask some awkward question sorry about that.
