Auto Electronic Shutter (AES)
Electronic shutter (ES), similar to mechanical shutter, is used to control the exposure time of the CCD.
AES technology automatically adjusts the electronic shutter speed based on the illuminance (light admitted) to ensure consistent brightness of output images.
A CCD camera controls the shutter based on the time when the electronic charge is accumulated on the optical power control apparatus. The maximum AES speed reaches 1/100,000s. A higher AES speed produces clearer images for moving objects.
