ATN910i port-queue doesn't work

Hello everyone,

I am Sebastian and I am doing an homologation of the Switch ATN 910i, and Im faceing a problem here, Im testing the handling of packages by CoS with port-queue and I am unable to make it work.


The topology is simple, i have a traffic generator witch generate 3 flows of raw traffic, from an interface to the Gi0/2/0 of the A****hen this traffic come back to de Traffic Generator from another interface of the ATN (Gi0/2/1).


The traffic: Flow 1: traffic with vlan 2 vlan priority 0 (Be Traffic) 500Mb Flow 2: Traffic with vlan 2 vlan priority 2 (AF2 Traffic) 500Mb

Flow 3: Traffic with vlan 2 vlan priority 5 (EF Traffic) 950Mb



The configuration:

interface GigabitEthernet0/2/0

 portswitch

 undo shutdown

 set flow-stat interval 30

 port link-type trunk

 port trunk allow-pass vlan 2

 stp disable

 undo dcn

 negotiation auto

 port-queue be wfq weight 1 outbound

 port-queue af2 wfq weight 99 outbound

 trust upstream default

 trust 8021p

Im sending 2Gb of traffic throw a 1Gig interface so, if im correct, the right behaviour is the next:


-Be Traffic (Cos 0) Vlan 2 with priority 0, 500Mb.

-AF2 Traffic (CoS 2) Vlan 2 with priority 2, 500Mb.

-EF Traffic (CoS 5) Vlan 2 with priority 5, 950Mb.



So EF will BE PQ first , then WFQ

So EF will be 950M 


BE and AF2 share the (1000-950)M


BE will be 50/(1+99) = 5M

AF2 will be 50*99/100) =  45M



But no, i dont get nothing like this. In fact, the port lets in as much traffic as possible.

@J.Sebastian hello,
I think the reason for this phenomenon is no congestion occurred.
Because the rate for both inward and outward traffic are 1G, which means all the inward traffics are forwarded in time.
