[Atlas 200dk] Raspberry pi camera

HiCoins as reward: 1 (problem unresolved)

Hello,

Can anyone help me to allow Atlas 200dk to capture frames from the Raspberry pi Camera HQ?

In this document it is said that  "The Atlas 200 DK is compatible with Raspberry Pi cameras"

I know the picamera V2 works fine with this sample

But I need to improve the image/video quality. So I am now trying to use the Raspberry Pi HQ Camera.

However there is an runtime error when trying to QueryCameraStatus, the camera status is CAMERA_NOT_EXISTS. I checked the cables and the input ports and everything is fine. I can't access the library content to see how is the camera failing to be found.

Any suggestions for what I can do to make Atlas200dk connect with picamera HQ?

My enviroment is:
   Ubuntu 18.04
   MindStudio 2.3.3
   Ascend Toolkit 20.0.RC1
   Atlas DDK 1.73.5.1.B050

Hi, dear !

Well I think you can try to set cameraFps_ = 5 when intialize camera if you want to use the Raspberry Pi HQ Camera firstly.
And then watch the sample if run successfully or not.

If OK that's fine. And If it runs failed, I think we can analyse the reason by detailed log.

The way to get the log is :
connect Atlas200DK
move to this folder: /var/log/npu/slog/host-0
remove old log files in this folder firstly, and run the sample again to generate the newest log file which we need.

And I hope you can provide the version info of your 200DK and virtual machine as well.

Hello! Thank you for replying so fast!

My enviroment is:
   Ubuntu 18.04
   MindStudio 2.3.3
   Ascend Toolkit 20.0.RC1
   Atlas DDK 1.73.5.1.B050

I attempted setting the camera to 5fps but the sample still fails. The failure actually happens before setting this configuration parameters. It happens on QueryCameraStatus(), right after the LibMediaInit()

The log actually didn't inform more than the output log in MindStudio. I tried to edit the post to add atachments but all uploads failed. You can access them in this link to my onedrive folder: https://1drv.ms/u/s!Arb8y_A0WTjfcUCHnGWc5B5H92s?e=guM8Yy

One thing I noticed is that host-0 log pointed to a file "sdk/hi3559/osdrv/components/libmedia_mini/./common.c:153" which perhaps could indicate why does this media library cant find the camera?

I feel sorry that reply you so late for confirming some information.
I think this error means 200dk cannot support your Raspberry pi Camera HQ, because its camera driver is designed and doesn't support all cameras.Maybe you can ask post-sale to obtain specified camera.
