Assume that the number of 802.11n APs is calculated only based on bandwidth, without taking into account other

factors, such as attenuation and interference. The tested rate of each AP is about 100 Mbit/s. There are 40 users in

each of the 10 office areas in an office building. The customer requires that each STA have 2 Mbit/s bandwidth along

with a concurrent Internet access rate of 70%. How many settled APs are needed in the office building to deliver these m

The formula you used based on the information given is what I'm curious. I thought it would be 5 or 6 based on how I calculated(40*10*2*0.7/100=5.6)

Generally, a larger value is used when calculating the product quantity.For example, if you calculate that you need 1.5, we'll take two.If we had calculated 5.6, we would have used six.Your calculation method is correct. If you use a larger value, it is OK.
