Problem Analysis
Using U2000, disable ASON feature
Root Cause
N/A
Solution Description
1. Check whether have ASON service and ASON cross connect. No ASON trails exist in the network
Go to Configuration> SDH ASON> ASON Trail Management. In SDH ASON Trail Management window use Filter all in Filter window
2. Disable the ASON feature on each board of NE where found enabled
Go to NE explorer> ASON> ASON Feature Management> Board ASON feature Management. Select the relevant board and select Disable. Apply after
3. Board OSPF and LMP feature disable
Go to NE explorer>ASON> Advanced Maintenance> ASON Protocol Management. Select the relevant board and select Disable in LMP and OSPF protocol status. Apply after
4. Disable NE ASON feature
Go to NE explorer>ASON> Advanced Feature Managment> ASON Feature Management. Select the NE and select Disable in ASON Feature. Apply after
5. Upload NE on NMS
Suggest
Check database of NE before ASON feature disable. If normal then disable ASON.
