Hello,

The CFGFILE.xml can be exported from WEB LMT, if you want to edit the configuration file directly, open it and edit it. However, you are not advised to edit the configuration file because the configuration file may be damaged and cannot be imported to the base station, or the configuration does not take effect after the base station is imported.

First, you need to know which port is the electrical port on the main control board, for example, you can use DSP ETHPORT to query the port type, if the port attribute is fiber and which is the electrical port.

1

In the physical connection, the fiber optical fiber needs to be connected to port 1.

In the configuration, you can add a new DEVIP using ADD DEVIP on the main control board, if the port 0 already has a same IP,  you need to delete the IP address before adding it to port port1.

Dear Airmarga!

You do not need to edit the CFG file. For boards that support optical modules, you only need to set the port mode.

You can refer to the following information:

Remove Interface IP Address (RMV IFIP)

Network Element: BTS3900, BTS3900 WCDMA, BTS3900 LTE, BTS3900 5G, BTS5900, BTS5900 WCDMA, BTS5900 LTE, BTS5900 5G

Function

Use this command to remove an interface IP address from a port.

Note

This is a high-risk MML command. Pay attention to the following precautions before running this command:

  • This command is used to remove only the interface IP address that is added by running the ADD IFIP command. The added interface IP addresses can be listed by running the LST IFIP command.

  • The operation will interrupt the services or OM channels carried on the interface IP address. You are advised to run the CFM CB command to enable configuration data rollback.

  • [NodeB,eNodeB,gNodeB]You cannot remove an interface IP address used by a link such as a remote maintenance channel or BFD session.
