Eth-Trunk consists of Ethernet links only that you bind multiple Ethernet ports to form an Eth-Trunk interface to increase bandwidth and you can improve link reliability because if a port is down, traffic is switched to other available ports. |

LACP is a dynamic link aggregation protocol that improves transmission speed and reliability. The two ends of the link send LACP packets to inform each other of their parameters and form a logical aggregation link. After the aggregation link is formed, LACP maintains the link status in real-time and dynamically adjusts the ports on the aggregation link upon detecting the failure of a physical port. |
