The Gateway Control Protocol (Megaco, H.248) is an implementation of the media gateway control protocol architecture for providing telecommunication services across a converged internetwork consisting of the traditional public switched telephone network (PSTN) and modern packet networks, such as the Internet. H.248 is the designation of the recommendations developed by the ITU Telecommunication Standardization Sector (ITU-T) and Megaco.

hi, @kita
MPLS is Multiprotocol Label Switching.Routing technique in telecommunications networks that directs data from one node to the next, based on short path labels rather than long network addresses, thus avoiding complex lookups in a routing table and speeding traffic flows. Its implemented between the data link layer and network layer in the TCP/IP protocol stack. MPLS replaces IP forwarding with label switching. Label is a short & fixed-length connection identifier like VPI,VCI &
