Hello,
Today I would like to share with you Ask about PON, PTN, distributed IDC.
Recently, I have listened to introduction on PON, PTN, SIG, and distributed IDC, and I feel very advanced. I would like to continue with a few personal views:
1. Is the PON network used as a peripheral access technology, or is it an independently operated network? I personally feel that PON is just an access method. The OLT can be integrated on a board card of the PTN aggregation equipment, and the PON interface is used as an interface method instead of an independent network;
2. How to integrate IDC capabilities distributed in different equipment hardware or in different physical locations? Or how to integrate cloud resources on different hardware?
I feel, can I use the idea of Object-oriented programming software design. The software and hardware resources on each distributed system are encapsulated into a class. For example, a physical system can be encapsulated into "memory class", storage class, computing unit class, WEB service "class", database "class", or virtual machine "class". Instances of these "classes" can be called on a central host, and their functions are distributed on different hosts. This method can also be used for cluster implementation, parallel processing, distributed computing, etc.
This method completely gets rid of the rigid and proprietary hardware architecture of current supercomputers. Any number of ordinary computers can be used, and supercomputers of any size can be built through software packaging.
You are welcome to leave a message and exchange in the comment area. Thank you!
