HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Hi is there any difference in the operating temperature for AR550 if the switch is install either in horizontal or vertical way? As this is the first time i'm using this model. My previous experience using other industrial brand switches has different operating temperature for the installation orientation due to heat sink.

Hi JaredKelupa,
The heat dissipation type of the AR550 series router is natural heat dissipation. The router adopts a fanless design and does not use external force to transfer and diffuse heat from high temperature to low temperature.

It is recommended that you install the device according to the installation standards in the product documentation. Please refer to the following link: https://support.huawei.com/hedex/hdx.do?docid=EDOC1100007341&id=EN-US_CONCEPT_0177901093&lang=en

I hope it helps!

ok thanks. I notice my AR550 upper temperature range was set very high and lower range was set very low. Any ways of configuring this? If i'm not wrong the upper limit was 100degree celcius and lower limit is 0 degree celcius. I want to set the upper limit to just 80 degree as the current temperature of my AR550 can fluctuate around above 70degree celcius and i want it to raise an alarm for this
