AR515GW + IP Camera

Hi friends! 


I have some problems trying to configure a router AR515GW in order to connect with an IP Camera, I know how to configure IP Cameras throught convencional procedures using the Port Forwarding, but with this router I have tryied several procedures but I can't get the task done. I would like to know if you can support me with this issue, so Whats the correct procedure to add N-IP Cameras to the router, thanks!

Configuring Basic Parameters for Communication Between the Device and Front-End Processor

1. Run the system-view command to enter the system view.

  1. 2. Run the ami command to enter the AMI view.
  2. 3. Run the basic heart-interval interval-value command to set the heartbeat interval.

    By default, the heartbeat interval is 5 minutes.

  3. 4. Run the basic report-retry retry-num command to set the maximum number of retries when the device reports heartbeat packets to register with a front-end processor.

    By default, the maximum number of report retries is 3.  

Configuring Connection Type

  1. Run the system-view command to enter the system view.
  2. Run the ami command to enter the AMI view.
  3. Run the connection connection-name command to configure a connection name and enter the connection view.
  4. Run the parameter protocol-type { iec62056 | modbus } command to set the communication protocol type of a front-end processor connecting to the device.
  5. Run the parameter connection-type tcp-client { remote address port port-num | time-out time | retry-wait interval-value } *command to set the local connection type, remote IP address, remote port number, and timeout period and interval of the connection with the remote end on the device.
  6. (Optional) Run the set net timeout time-value command to set the timeout period of the Ethernet data request between the device and front-end processors. By default, the timeout period of Ethernet data requests is 30s.

Configuring the Authentication Level

  1. Run the system-view command to enter the system view.
  2. Run the ami command to enter the AMI view.
  3. Run the basic authorization-level level command to configure the authentication for front-end processors.

    By default, the authentication level of communication between the device and a front-end processor is high-level authentication. There are also non-authentication and low-level authentication.

  4. Run the basic id id password { low | high } command to configure the device ID and low-level authentication or high-level authentication password.

    • When high-level authentication is used, specify high and configure the device ID and authentication password.

    • When low-level authentication is used, specify low and configure the device ID and authentication password.

    • When no authentication is used, specify low or high and configure the device ID.

  5. (Optional) When the authentication level is high-level authentication, run the basic high-algorithm { aes-128 | sha-256 } command to configure the encryption algorithm for high-level authentication.

    By default, high-level authentication uses the SHA-256 algorithm.

Smart Bus Solution, I need to get some devices working together, 2 IP Cameras, 1 Inteligent passenger counter, 2 panic bottons, prepaid card reader (RFID), so I would like to know how to do the integration with te AR515GW. Recently I have installed an OS (Linux SUSE) in the router and I need to get the device port access between router (WiFi, LTE, GPS, WAN/LAN Ports, ...) and the OS installed inside.
