Hi,
With most Huawei devices, you can break into the
device startup using the CTRL-B combination whilst the device is
starting up. Note you can only do this from the console and yu should
see the prompt "Press Ctrl+B to enter extended boot menu..."
You should then be prompted to input the "Bootware password".
I
have just tried this on an AR19 that I have and the password seems to
be unset by default so just press enter and you should get a menu.
One
of the options on the menu is "Skip current system system
configuration". This should boot you up ignoring your configuration. If
you do this you should be able to get onto the console of the device, as
the config file is in text format you should be able to retrieve all
the information from this file.
I haven't been able to
find any documentation on the Bootware menu system, however you should
be able to find documentation for the ARx9xx series routers on the
Huawei support web site. These are in PDF format and there are
configuration guides as well as command references available. You will
need to create an account on the Huawei web site but I think you should
then be able to download the manuals.
Hope this helps.
