Hi, 
I have 1LTE-L interface card on my router and now seeking better(faster) uplink.

Am I have to upgrade the router or is it possible to get like  SIC-5G-100. to work on current.

Unfortunately, AR1220E doesn't support the SIC-5G-100 interface card. And as far as I know, AR1220E support only the 3G and 4G interface card, 5G interface card is not included by now.
