Today I will share with you AP version upgrade mode.
Automatic upgrade
Comply with the definition of CAPWAP protocol. When AP is launched on line, compared with version information on AC, if it is not consistent, the version is automatically updated. AC can specify the version used by a certain type of AP through configuration.
Manual batch upgrade
Online AP is valid by commanding to trigger a certain type of AP to upgrade based on global or domain. AP downloads, but does not restart automatically. AP can be restarted by batch restart command of type in the global or domain.
Typical applications are batch version during the day and batch reset at night.
Single AP Manual Upgrade
Single AP upgrade can satisfy the upgrade test of AP before batch upgrade and avoid human error or version error.
ap update load { ap-name ap-name | ap-mac ap-mac | ap-id ap-id } update-filename update-file-name
Support AC mode and FTP mode upgrade. In AC mode, the concurrency is 32, while in FTP mode, the concurrency is unrestricted and limited by the capability of FTP server.
