AP is not discovered on the AC

Hi,

We have a simple network, but the AP cannot be found on AC.

Topology:

AP----------S5700---------AC

The switch S5700 connects AP and AC, a very basic topology and basic configuration as above.

AP obtains IP address and I can ping it from the AC. But the AP is not displayed in the output of command “display ap all” on AC.

I configure the AP online following the steps in documentation https://support.huawei.com/hedex/hdx.do?docid=EDOC1100169994&id=EN-US_CONCEPT_0176917720&lang=en

Used “ap auth-modeno auth” and tried to add it by mac-address.

Do you have any suggestions?

OK, the version matching is fine. How many APs have been added to the AC6508? The AC6508 supports up to 256 APs by default. If the total number of AP exceeds that limitation, you are required to install a license to expand the limitation.
You can view the online AP through the command ‘display ap all’ to view if the total number of AP has reached the limit. If you are not sure if the license is installed, you can run the command ‘display license’ to review that.

The AC is AC6508 with version V200R020C00, AP is AP8150DN with V200R019C10.

display ap online failed reason, if no reason,please check whether ap to ac network is ok
