Hi,

I want to ask about airengine 5761-11 experience.

When we use bridge multi ap mode signal strenght is lower than using single ap mode. We want to use leader ap but signal strenght is very low according to bridge mode single ap mode. Why ?

Hi friend!

1. The AP bridge only transmits data and does not affect the signal strength.
2. It is recommended that you check the position of the AP. Check whether there are steel plates or iron plates, which may cause severe signal attenuation.
3. Check whether APs are densely deployed and whether there is interference from wireless devices.

We did this test together. When we switched to Leader Mode, the signal quality dropped to 10dbm.
There is no change in the environment, only the way of working has changed.
10dbm drop in signal level
what could be the reason?
