Hello all,

After IPv6 is enabled on the S7700, PCs connected to the wireless AP can obtain IPv6 addresses and communicate with each other, but the Android phones cannot obtain ipv6 addresses.

The networking and main configurations are as follows. Please help to check whether there is any problem. Thank you!

Networking: S7700---access switch----AP

Configuration:

interface Vlanif3001

 ipv6 enable

 ip address X.X.X.X 255.255.0.0

 ipv6 address 2XXX:D400:1001:20::X/64

 ipv6 address auto link-local

 undo ipv6 nd ra halt

 ipv6 nd autoconfig managed-address-flag

 ipv6 nd autoconfig other-flag

 vrrp6 vrid 1 virtual-ip FE80::2 link-local

 vrrp6 vrid 1 virtual-ip 2XXX:D400:1001:20::X

 dhcpv6 server wireless

Hello Hobbit,

Currently, Android phones support only stateless IPv6 address generation.

And the ipv6 nd autoconfig managed-address-flag command is used to set the M flag bit of stateful address autoconfiguration in an RA packet.

•  If the M flag is set, a host obtains an IPv6 address through stateful autoconfiguration.

•  If the M flag is not set, a host uses stateless autoconfiguration to obtain an IPv6 address, that is, the host generates an IPv6 address based on the prefix information in the RA packet.

Try deleting this command, so that Android phones can obtain IPv6 addresses in stateless mode.

Please let me know if this is workful!
