Hi team!
Here's a case that An SDTest Error Is Reported Due to LUN Mapping Switch.
Symptom
An SDTest error is reported due to LUN mapping switch:
1. Windows VMs are established on ESX hosts.
2. LUNs are mapped to ESX hosts. After taking over the LUNs, NMP maps them to Windows VMs in the RDM form.
3. SDTest runs on Windows VMs and delivers I/Os to RDM.
4. An error is reported. The SDTest finishes.
Fault Diagnosis
Through log analysis, it is found that NMP detects changes of LUN mappings that will cause data inconsistency.
An error is reported and the SDTest finishes.
Solution
1. Close a VM.
2. Right-click the VM and choose Edit Settings.

3. Run the esxcfg-rescan -A command to start disk scanning on ESX hosts.
Delete the existing LUN mappings and manage new LUN mappings.
4. Right-click the VM and choose Edit Settings. \
In the dialog box that is displayed, add the newly reported RDM disks to VMs.
