This fault may occur on all IPC models.Symptom
An IPC cannot be powered on after being connected to the ONU (MA5626). The ONU(MA5626) fails to supply power for the IPC through PoE.
Cause
- The IPC is faulty.
- The PoE function of the ONU is faulty.
- There is a grounding problem on the IPC.
Solution
- Connect another
IPC that can normally power on to the ONU (MA5626) to check whether the IPC can
power on.
- If yes, replace the original IPC with a normal one.
- If no, go to2.
- Reconfigure the ONU
(MA5626).
Adjust the following settings for the ONU (MA5626):
- Set the PoE power supply mode to automatic.
- Enable overtemperature protection.
- Set the port power supply priority toCritical.
- Set the power port output to a larger value.
- Ground the ONU (MA5626) properly.
- Check whether
the fault is rectified.
- If yes, the procedure ends.
- If no, contact your service provider for assistance.
