An Invalid User Data Error Occurs When a User Logs In to the IVS C/S Client
Symptom
When a user enters the correct user name and password to log in to the IVS C/S client, the login fails and an invalid user data error is displayed, as shown in Figure 1.
Figure 1 Invalid user data

Possible Cause
- The IVS C/S client fails to obtain the hard disk ID.
- The hard disk ID obtained by the IVS C/S client is different from that obtained last time.
Solution
- Close the IVS C/S client and go to the installation directory of the client.
The default installation directory of the IVS C/S client is C:\Program Files\huawei\HW_IVS_Client.
- Go to the Host\config directory, and open the HW.EIVSProperties.xml file using the Notepad.
- Find the HistoryUserSN node in HW.EIVSProperties.xml.
<HistoryUserSN value="2020202057202d444d5756415932333937323037" />
- Delete the HistoryUserSN node, and save the file.
- Open and log in to the IVS C/S client again.
If the login is successful, no further action is required. If the fault persists, contact Huawei technical support engineers.
