Hi, there.
G.fast basic information
The protocol of G.fast is defined by ITU-TG.9701 (Physical layer specification), G.9700 (Power spectral density specification) and G.997.2 (the physical layer management ).
G.fast is a copper technology, through the twisted-pair transmission of modulated signals to achieve the function of the Internet user. Copper technology from ADSL -> VDSL -> Vectoring ->G.fast has gotten faster and faster to solve the user last mile problem.

G.fast vectoring

Line attenuation, external noise and crosstalk together result in a decrease in line payload and a decrease in rate. In the case of line length, quality, and external environment can not be optimized, the elimination of crosstalk is an important way to increase the rate.
Vectoring technology eliminates noise and injects an inverse noise, rather than getting the higher rate.
