ALS is stand for Automatic Laser Shutdown. It shutdowns the TX power at the Client Side. We have four auxiliary conditions to trigger the ALS. Below is the description and the network scenarios:
1. FW_DEFECT: If a fault occurs on the client-side receiver of the upstream board or the WDM-side receiver of the local board, the laser on the client-side transmitter of the local board must be shut down

2. BW_WDM_DEFECT: If a fault occurs on the WDM-side receiver of the local board, the laser on the client-side transmitter of the upstream board must be shut down.

3. BW_CLIENT_R_LOS: If a fault occurs on the client-side receiver of the local board, the laser on the client-side transmitter of the local board must be shut down.

4. FWD_OPUk_CSF: If an OPUk_CSF alarm is detected on the client-side port of the local board, the laser on the client-side transmitter of the local board must be shut down.
