ALM-306000078 ASI board fault
Description
This alarm is generated when a fault occurs on the ASI board. The possible causes are as follows:•The ASI board was reset by using the reset board slot, reset card slot, or debug upgrade slot command.
•The ASI board was removed.
•The ASI board restarted abnormally.
Impact on the System
Services for POTS users are interrupted.
System Actions
None.
Procedure
1.Check whether the ASI board is installed. a. If so, go to Step 2.
b. If not, install the ASI board and wait until it starts. Go to Step 4.
2.Replace the ASI board and wait until the new ASI board restarts. Run the show board command to check the status of the ASI board. a. If the board status is OK, go to Step 4.
b. If the board status is FAULT, go to Step 3.
3.Install the ASI board into another slot and run the config add board command. After the ASI board starts, checks the board status. a. If the board status is OK, go to Step 4.
b. If the board status is FAULT, go to Step 5.
4.Check whether the alarm is cleared. a. If so, go to Step 6.
b. If not, go to Step 5.
5.Contact Huawei technical support engineers for help or visit http://iCare.huawei.com to submit a fault report.
6.End.
Clearing
When the fault is eliminated, the system will auto-clear the alarm. Manual clearing is not required.
