Cause of ALM-28008 RF Link Fault

Configuration Reason

• The channel configuration of the cell is inappropriate.

• The IP path or Abis configuration of the BTS is abnormal.

Software causes

• An exception occurs during the channel type conversion. As a result, the channel type or channel status between the BSC and the BTS is inconsistent.

• The BTS or BSC software is faulty. As a result, the channel type or channel status between the BSC and the BTS is inconsistent.

• The software of the TRX module is faulty.

Hardware fault

• Antenna uplink or downlink fault

• The channel of the TRX module is faulty.

• The TMA configuration is inconsistent with the actual connection.

Other Causes

• Uplink or downlink interference

• Transmission Problems

First, you need to view the alarm information and record the specific problem of the alarm.

The specific problems are as follows:

• Activation exception

• Release exception

• Uplink and downlink imbalance

• High call drop rate

• Poor uplink channel quality

• Poor downlink channel quality
