Hello everyone!
I will forward you a newsletter about Huawei's enterprise network transmission and access technology industry.
Jin Yuzhi, President of Huawei Transmission & Access Product Line, gave the first interpretation of the 5th-generation fixed communications network F5G in the enterprise field at the recent launch conference of Huawei enterprise optical network flagship products in the F5G era, Huawei also launched the industry's first F5G-powered industrial-grade smart optical terminal (Huawei starlight T863E) and the next-generation hard pipe technology Liquid OTN (small-granularity OTN optical transmission solution), accelerating enterprise digital transformation. In addition, Huawei and industry partners released the "Starlight Plan", which proposes to invest CNY2.5 billion in the next five years to build an all-optical industry ecosystem and create an industry growth space of 100 billion.

F5G is the fifth-generation fixed network technology, also called F5G all-optical network. Similar to 5G, F5G is a new-generation communication standard proposed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) for industrial Internet application scenarios. 5G and F5G are complementary to each other and play an irreplaceable role in different service scenarios. 5G applies to mobility and multi-connection scenarios, such as drones and the Internet of Vehicles (IoV). F5G applies to fixed, high-bandwidth, low-latency, and high-security scenarios, such as industrial Internet, data center interconnection, and enterprise campus.
Jin Yuzhi said that in the enterprise market, F5G is based on optical fiber communication technologies and features ultra-large bandwidth, security and reliability, and deterministic low latency. Huawei will focus on four service scenarios: industrial optical network, all-optical bearer, all-optical data center, and all-optical campus, creating value for an increasing number of industries. Including F5G+ mine, electric power, government, finance, and enterprise campus.
It is estimated that in the next five years, F5G will bring at least 100 billion-level industry investment space, benefiting various industries such as government, electricity, transportation, education, manufacturing, and finance. At the conference, Huawei and industry partners jointly released the Starlight Plan and invested 2.5 billion RMB in developing the optical industry ecosystem in five years.
Up to now, Huawei's all-optical campus, all-optical bearer, and all-optical data center solutions have served more than 3800 customers in 158 countries and regions.
