Rectify the fault based on the two root causes:
Step 1: Log in to the switch and run the display stack port command to view the stack port and port status.
Step 2: If the stack port is Down, rectify the fault according to the command output.

Step 3: If the stack port is Up and the stack is set up using service ports, run the display interface interface-name command to check whether the number of packets on the stack port increases or whether there are error packet statistics on the stack port. If the number of packets on the stack port does not increase or there are error packet statistics, replace the existing stack cable. Otherwise, contact technical support personnel.

Step 4: If the stack port is Up and the stack is set up using stack cards, run the display stack port command to check whether the number of packets on the stack port increases or whether there are error packet statistics on the stack port. If the number of packets on the stack port does not increase or there are error packet statistics, replace the existing stack cable. Otherwise, contact technical support personnel.
