Hello everyone,
Now I’d like to share with you how to set up a stack of S series switches.
1. If you use stack cards to set up a stack, perform the following operations: install stack cards and connect stack cables. After the switches are powered on, they can set up a stack.
2. If you use service ports to set up a stack through dedicated stack cables, perform the following operations: connect dedicated stack cables to the unconfigured switches. After the switches are powered on, they can set up a stack. Dedicated stack cables are supported since V200R011C10.
3. If you use service ports to set up a stack through ordinary stack cables, perform the following operations in sequence: configure stack ports, power off the switches, connect stack cables, and then power on the switches. These switches then set up a stack.
