Latest reply: Mar 8, 2019 01:23:42 1427 1 0 0

To enable STP/RSTP/MSTP/VBST, run the stp enable command in the system view or interface view.

To disable STP/RSTP/MSTP/VBST, run the undo stp enable or stp disable command in the system view or interface view.

1.  To enable or disable STP/RSTP/MSTP/VBST on a specific interface, run the corresponding command on the interface. Examples are as follows:

# Enable STP/RSTP/MSTP/VBST on GE0/0/1.

<HUAWEI> system-view

[HUAWEI] interface gigabitethernet 0/0/1

[HUAWEI-GigabitEthernet0/0/1] stp enable

# Disable STP/RSTP/MSTP/VBST on GE0/0/1.

<HUAWEI> system-view

[HUAWEI] interface gigabitethernet 0/0/1

[HUAWEI-GigabitEthernet0/0/1] undo stp enable

2. For more information about configuration examples, visit the corresponding web page.

For more information about configurations and principles of loop protocols, see the corresponding product documentation.

Step 1: Log in to Huawei enterprise technical support website: http://support.huawei.com/enterprise.

Step 2: Select the product, for example, Switch > S5700.

Step 3: Select the corresponding product documentation from the Downloadable Product Documentation Package.

Step 4: See the configurations about relevant loop protocols under Configuration > CLI-based Configuration Guide > Ethernet Switching Configuration Guide.
