Hello everyone,
Today I’m going to introduce you how to configure load balancing in link aggregation.
In practical services, you need to configure a proper load balancing mode based on traffic characteristics. Load balancing can be classified into two categories: common load balancing and enhanced load balancing.
Common load balancing mode: Load is balanced based on IP addresses or MAC addresses of packets.
Enhanced load balancing mode: This mode can be configured for Layer 2 packets, IP packets, and MPLS packets.
Run the load-balance { dst-ip | dst-mac | src-ip | src-mac| src-dst-ip | src-dst-mac | enhanced profile profile-name} command in the Eth-Trunk view to configure the load balancing mode.
For details about load balancing configurations, see the corresponding product documentation.
Step 1:Log in to Huawei enterprise technical support website: http://support.huawei.com/enterprise.
Step 2: Select the product, for example, Switch > S5700.
Step 3: Select the corresponding product documentation from the Downloadable Product Documentation Package.
Step 4: See (Optional) Configuring a Load Balancing Mode underConfiguration > CLI-based Configuration Guide > Ethernet Switching Configuration Guide > Link Aggregation Configuration> Configuring Link Aggregation in Manual Mode or Configuring Link Aggregation in LACP Mode.
This is what I want to talk about/share with you today, thank you!
