Today, I’d like to share a case.
Problem description
Issue was reported that All the Alarms are observing with 3-hours time difference with the current time.
Handling process
Handling process for this issue is as under:
1. Configuration was verified at UA5000 that whether all configuration is properly configured at UA5000 and it was found that all configuration was properly configured.
2. Date and Time was checked at UA5000, and it was properly configured but still difference of 3 hours was observing in alarms
3. On further trouble shooting of this issue, it was found that at EMS U2000 standard time-zone was set to GMT+5, while the configuration of time-zone at UA5000 was set configured at GMT+8.
4. After proper configuration of time-zone to GMT+5 at UA5000. All alarms were properly reporting at U2000 EMS without any time difference.
Root cause
for this issue was found that Time was improperly configured at U2000
Solution
For resolving such issue, kindly configured the proper time-zone at UA5000 and U2000 end.
