Description
During the snapshot creation process, if the communication between nodes is abnormal, the system is faulty and the snapshot creation fails. The system attempts to restore the VM for many times within 5 minutes. This alarm is generated when the system fails to restore the VM if the communication between nodes is still abnormal.
Possible causes
The Computing Node Agent (CNA) was powered off during the snapshot creation process. A network exception occurred on a host during the snapshot creation process.
Procedure
1. In the navigation tree on the left, click . The Monitoring page is displayed.
2. Choose .
3. On the Real-Time Alarms tab, query the VM for which the alarm is generated from the Alarm Object column.
4. In the navigation tree on the left, the Resource Pools page is displayed.
5. Choose .
6. Enter the VM name in the Name text box and choose and wait until the VM is stopped.
7. After the VM has stopped, select to restart the VM.
8. After about 5 or 6 minutes, log in to the VM and check whether it runs properly. If yes, clear the alarm manually.
