I am new in Huawei AirEngine Wifi6

I have several questions in my mind

QUESTIONS:

1. any Free Cloud Controller like CambiumNetworks

2. in AirEngine Wifi6. What are differences between models

How to choose appropriate AP based on concurrent users or bandwidth

3. Could first AP become controller for other APs like IAP in Aruba or MobilityExpress in Cisco

4. any Virtual WLC available beside Appliance

tq

Maybe an interesting solution is CloudCampus from Huawei which is comparable with Cisco Meraki. I'm aware of such Public CloudCampus controllers in China, France and Switzerland. Not just for access points but also for switches, routers and firewalls.

For On-Prem solutions you can also use some access switches as WLCs. I'm not aware of any virtual WLC and never heard about any intention from Huawei to change that.

Hi nbctcp,
Different APs have different specifications and features. For details about the specifications, see the product documentation https://support.huawei.com/hedex/hdx.do?docid=EDOC1100169916&id=EN-US_CONCEPT_0176913598&lang=en.
For details about AP selection, see https://support.huawei.com/hedex/hdx.do?docid=EDOC1100169916&id=EN-US_TOPIC_0177362584&lang=en.
You can also contact the local pre-sales personnel, who will recommend the products according to your needs.
Third, APs of other vendors cannot be managed because the protocols of different vendors are different.

Based on this, there is no Mobility Express like in Huawei
