Dear all I have this environment,
AGILE CAPTIVE PORTAL DO NOT AUTHORIZE USER AC6005 V2R7C20-2582573-1

I configured one SSID "GUEST_CAPTIVE" in direct forwarding (VLAN 12) on AC1 and deployed to AP1. I configured RADIUS authentication and authorization to the AGILE controller. The Agile controller and the AC1 are in the same Management VLAN. I configured the Authentication, Athorization Rule on the Agile controller in order to authenticate user and to authorize them on post authentication phase. When I connect the user to the "CAPTIVE_GUEST" the user is correctly ridirected to the Captive for the authentication. The user authentication is successful but the user cannot go online because it still in "pre-auth" state.

I did some Wireshark tracing between Agile controller and the Access Controller and I have noticed that once the user authenticate there is no interaction between them.

I will attach some screenshoot of Agile Controller and the conf of the Access Controller.
Can you support me on this?

1) Agile Controller - Device Mangement. Note: I am very sure that password are correct on both Agile and Access Controller

2) User has been created in the Group "Guest_1"

3) Authentication Policy

4) Authorization Result

5) Authorization Policy

6) Push Page Policy

Hello.
Have same issue bit time ago.
As i discover, after client successful portal authentication, there was no RADIUS Accept message from Agile to controller. Thats why clent stay in "pre-auth"-state on controller.

Workaround that help me solve this problem:
In Portal profile configuration on controller set parameters: ac-ip and user-ip.
With this parameters this problem was solved for me.

Looks like without this parameters AGILE don't know where to send RADIUS Accept message.

Hi,

We have the same issue lately. You mentioned that you configure parameters "ac-ip" and "user-ip" on AC controller.
However I am not able to locate these parameters. Can you tell me more on this? Thanks a lot.
