Hi everyone!
Here’s a case that two UltraPath uninstallation icons are displayed in control panel.
[Symptom]
After UltraPath is upgraded, two UltraPath uninstallation icons are displayed in Control Panel.

[Fault Diagnosis]
1. After UltraPath is upgraded, two UltraPath uninstallation icons are displayed in Control Panel. The version of one icon is the source version. The other icon does not have version information.
2. If a user right-clicks the first UltraPath icon and chooses Uninstall from the shortcut menu, an error is displayed, as shown in the following figure:

The error message is "UltraPath of an earlier version has been installed. Uninstall it and retry."
3. If the user right-clicks the second UltraPath icon (the one that does not have version information) and chooses Uninstall from the shortcut menu, an error is displayed, as shown in the following figure:

The message is "Please wait until the current program is finished uninstalling or being changed."
4. If the user right-clicks the second icon again and chooses Uninstall from the shortcut menu, UltraPath can be uninstalled.
[Impact]
Residual information in the registry causes the problem. However, UltraPath has been upgraded to the target version, and basic functions are normal.
In the command prompt window, run the following command to check the current version:
upadm show version
[Solution]
1. Right-click the UltraPath icon that does not have version information and choose Uninstall from the shortcut menu. After the uninstallation is completed, restart the host. Then, only one UltraPath uninstallation icon exists, as shown in the following figure:

2. Right-click the remaining UltraPath icon and choose Uninstall from the shortcut menu. After the uninstallation is completed, restart the host. Then, the remaining UltraPath icon does not exist.
3. Install UltraPath of the target version.
