After install OSN 1800II, the NE can not be managed by the NCE.

Today, I'd like to share a case with you.

Problem Description

After installing OSN 1800II, the NE can not be managed by the NCE.

Problem Analysis

1. the OSN1800II(5-UXCL-1) is linked with OSN1500(5-Q2SLN-2);

2. there is a R_LOF alarm in OSN1500(5-Q2SLN-2) and the port rate is STM-16

Root Cause

1.  OSN1800II(5-UXCL-1) need to create a logical SLN board and logical port;

2. the port rate should be STM-16 same as OSN1500(5-Q2SLN-2).

Solution Description

1. use navigator to login OSN 1800II;

2. run command to create logical board:

   :cfg-add-board:37,z1sln

3. run commands to create logical  port:

   :cfg-del-port:37,0xff,1

   :cfg-add-port:37,0xff,1,oport,0xff;stm-16
