  Rewarded HiCoins: 1 (problem resolved)

Hello, my switch was configured with telnet  and it's works. And i have 3 accounts with permitted all types of service (telnet, ssh, http).

I wanted turn on ssh.

All my steps:

rsa local-key-pair create

stelnet server enable

user-interface vty 0 4

authentication-mode aaa (it was already configured for telnet)

protocol inbound ssh.

After this i disconnected from telnet session. And tried ssh.

I can connect, but my password doesn't work - Access denied.

Http works, but some buttons not work there like reboot, and editing accounts(works only delete account, can't create new).

Telnet's port down, after enable stelnet. What can i do?

I have only one solution - manually reboot, but it's hard.

Hi,

If you want to Log In to the device through telnet, the command should be protocol inbound all or protocol inbound telnet.

And if you want to use the SSH, you need to add the following command:

ssh user xxx authentication-type all

ssh user xxx service-type stelnet

I hope it helps.

Hello,

A set of standards and an associated network protocol that allows establishing a secure channel between a local and a remote computer. A feature to protect information and provide powerful authentication function for a network when a user logs in to the network through an insecure network. It prevents IP addresses from being deceived and simple passwords from being captured.
