Hello, everyone!
Today, I will start to explain aerial optical cable installation.
The investor has a project task. The task of the designer is to understand the task and to design it respecting all rules and laws. If the task is contrary to law or rules, the designer cannot realize it. The designer provides a solution based on the terms of reference. In general, today there is no telecommunication network that in one part does not contain optical cables. Optical cables are the most use today. After drawing the optical route, the designer must go around it. And if necessary to correct it. The optical route can be aerial, underground, underwater or a combination of all. Today I want to start to explain the aerial installation.
The main advantages of aerial cable installation are fast installation and low cost compared to other solutions. Today, this type of installation is done in rural or sub rural areas.
Prior to the works, the contractor received the project for building from the designer and the necessary permits for building. The works must be reported to the competent services and the time of project implementation must be defined.
Poles are required for this type of cable installation. Poles can be wooden, concrete or metal. Most often, concrete and metal poles can be for electricity transmission or lighting. Today, wooden poles are mostly installed by a telecommunications operator.
Here I will explain the installation of wooden poles and the installation of a network on these poles. The principle is similar for all poles.
Wooden poles must be taken care of during transport and unloading. People who work with them must have appropriate personal protection equipment: boots with steel caps, hardhat, gloves, etc.

Before setting up the poles, the surveyors record the optical route and mark the positions of the poles.
