Advanced method of resetting ONT to default configuration

Issue Description

I am unable to reset ONT for default login credentials. I
have not connected this OLT/ONT to U2000 so there is not auto config upload to
ONT. Because I have not right credentials, I can't reset it from webpage. How
can I reset ONT to default login credentials?<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" />

All ways I tried failed:

1) ONT HW reset button pressed more than 10s.

2) ONT factory reset command from OLT console

3) Upgrading to newer FW from V13 to V15, to V17 not help,
old credentials still remains.

Solution

You can telnet ONT thought OLT, and execute restore manufactory in WAP mode.

Input MA5600(diagnose)%% telnet frameid/slotid/portid ontid

521d5ae8322a44e3bc3f94afe609f15a

input root/admin or root/adminHW

WAP>su

SU_WAP>restore manufactory

success!

SU_WAP>

Please note that, restore the factory settings will lose the user's current configuration.
