Add third Party IP-Phone on U1900

This post will share add third party IP phone on U1900 to you!

Steps:

1. Run config add phonetype name command.
   

   NOTE:
   

   When setting the name parameter in the command, use the asterisk (*) to replace the space if there is any. If precise match is not required, enter a prefix segment of User-Agent. For example, to add Huawei eSpace 8950 V100R001C00, you can run the config add phonetype name Huawei*eSpace*8950 command.
   

2. config softargu type 286 value 0
   

   NOTE:

• If parameter 286 is set to 0, all third-party IP terminals are allowed to register with the unified gateway.

• If parameter 286 is set to 1, the U1900 series unified gateways accept registration requests from IP terminals of the Polycom, echolife, and Huawei types by default. If you want other types of IP terminals to register with the unified gateway, run the config add sip useragent string useragent password password command.
